went back to ylp today to collect my cheque. and got some good news and bad news. good news is, one of my ex colleague saw me and she said "wow.. rose you look prettier now!" and the bad news is, another of my ex colleague said "eh rose.. your face is chubbier leh.." woooooop. ok thanks.oh god.. that was like a slap in the face. piaak!
after that, me and salwah went to ikea! the happy place! i was so happy the whole day until i reached the cashier. hah.
as i mentioned, i wanna do a mini make over for my room. just change of colours for the bedsheet and all. i have been buying the same coloured bedsheets for like a year or two already. so its time to change! here it is, the Before & After:
you better know which is the before and which is the after. as you can see all i did was, i bought a quilt and quilt cover with matching bedsheet (macam betol je matching) however, im not really satisfied with the end result. it didnt turn out as nice as i hope it would be. alah apapelah.
ok the bed aside, this is where i put my bags. under my study table where i rarely sit. its an eyesore to see the bags just on the floor. so i got myself a laundry bag to store it. haha!
not that impressive but at least i dont hate the sight of it.
ok the next thing i gotta do is, change the curtain and also get a picture frame or an art piece to hang on the wall on top of my bed. i saw this art piece at ikea which totally caught my eye!!! its a drawing of a naked girl lying down(but u cant see nothing cos she's not lying on her back).. the colours are beautiful. oh godd. if only i can get my hands on that! urrrrrgh.
everything about ikea is 2 thumbs up! the stuff they sell are awesome and at reasonable prices, the things are packed in such a way 2 girls can take a bus home even after buying lots and lots of things. and how can we forget? the ever SO FREAKIN DELICIOUS hotdog which me and salwah had just in time for buka!
overall, had a great great day today. oh, and im feeling sky high too....... :D
