early in the morning today i accompanied my mom to the newly opened sheng siong at Khatib! well maybe not so new cos it was opened last weekend but it was my first time to shop there. it felt like i was in another neighborhood!seafood fresh or what? the prawns were jumping about and they sell fishes in the tank! oh-my-god. i dont think i'll ever bother to buy such fresh seafood. i cant bear to kill it!
other than that.. sorry to say but i thought it was ummmm let me not say dis in english. it was 'menggelikan nak mampos'. lol. i was looking at some shampoos while waiting for my mom. i turned my head and right beside me was kaki BABI. ohgod. it was everywhere! pigs kidney pigs sweet intestines pigs pigs pigs pork pork pork. unlike other supermarkets, they didnt really put it at one side of the market. so i had to pass all this things that i didnt wanna see. and jalan depan sikit you'll find some skinned kataks. whoaw.. what an experience..!
damn i miss ABC supermarket with all their good random $1 stuff. i bet all Khatibeans do too. :( i hate you ABC for leaving us.. lol
it hasn't been a fruitful week. didn't do much apart from cleaning the house and baked some kuehs. i actually wanted to try sewing my own curtain for my bedroom but i guess im just too lazy for it. so most probably i'll be stuck with this one cos i cant seem to find any other matching curtain available in this house. buying one? tried searching at ikea and geylang but none was attractive. oh yes im cerewet. lol.
well, we got some help to clean the house! and oh boy, he's effecient!
